The thesis will deal with the fate of castles and chateaus in three districts of the South Bohemian Region, one inland and two border districts located in the area of the former Sudetenland. In the theoretical part of the thesis, three basic aspects influencing their historical development will be discussed - the role of conservation, the number of visitors and the owners of the castles and chateaux. In the research part I will create a database of still existing castles and palaces in selected districts. This will be followed by a presentation of the five selected objects, consisting of a brief history and a description of the historical development of the castle or chateau in the 20th century, which had a significant impact on its post-war status. The aim of the thesis is to map the fate of castles and chateaux in the three districts under study, as well as to provide a detailed description of the five selected historic buildings.

The use of less known chateaus in the region Benešovsko for tourism development

The bachelor thesis is focused on less known and threatened chateaus in the region Benešovsko and on their use. The theoretical part concerns the definition and the characteristic of tourism. Then focused on specificity of cultural tourism and historic preservation. The second part presents the tourism of the Middle Bohemia and the dictrict Benešovsko. It has been created a brief overview of all the chateaus in the region nad then there are introducend some examples of the interesting use. The main part of the thesis is about the analysis of three threatened chateaus and the determination of their potential use. The main goal is to find more possibilities for utilization of each object and to focus on the area of local tourism. This thesis should widen the awareness about the condition of czech heritage and point to the problematic of growing number of decaying chateuas. It could inspire how to change the courent situation and look for suitable use of chateuas.

The Metodics concerning the guidance of the visitors of castles, countryhouses and other historic buildings open to the public

Úvodní část metodiky zmiňuje obecně počátky průvodcovských služeb a prů- vodcovských textů v evropském kontextu, s hlavním zřetelem na hrady a zámky v českém prostředí. Navazující části se již věnují hlavnímu tématu metodiky, a to potřebám kvalita- tivního zabezpečení průvodcovské činnosti. Je zde vysvětlena problematika tvor- by a interpretace průvodcovských textů, přípravy průvodců na průvodcovskou čin- nost a s ní spojené povinnosti či potřeby. Samostatně je popsaná obecně vedená organizace prohlídky památkového objektu průvodcem. V základních bodech je naznačen přístup průvodce k návštěvníkům s omezenou schopností pohybu a ori- entace. Závěr přináší soupis použité a doporučené literatury pro ty, kteří se chtějí o průvodcovské činnosti a jejích specifikách dozvědět více.

The Metodics of Presentation of Historical Interiors and their Outfit

Metodika, rozdělená na metodickou a sborníkovou část, ve své první části podrobně vysvětluje postupy a zásady stavební a restaurátorské obnovy památkových objektů určených pro umístění památkových interiérových instalací a následně i vlastní přípravu a tvorbu památkových interiérových instalací a reinstalací. Sborníková část představené a popsané metodické postupy a zásady dále rozvíjí a doplňuje. Závěr metodiky patří výběru literatury k tématům, nímž se metodika věnuje.

Organizing of open-air opera performances and festivals

This thesis deals with the organizing of open-air opera festivals and performances. Attention will be given to such projects taking place in the amphitheaters or in the castle courtyards. The aim of the thesis is to pay attention to the specifics that go along with the organization of open-air opera projects. After a brief summary of the historical evolution the specifics of the theatre operation follows as well as an overview of the most important open-air opera events in the Czech Republic. The core of the work lies in the analysis of two events: The particular performances arranged by the agency Croce in Jindřichův Hradec and especially the festival Loketské kulturní léto (Loket Cultural Summer) in the region of Karlovy Vary. An attention is also paid to the history of the spaces. The work concludes with the evaluation of the position of Loket Cultural Summer between other similar projects as well as its position within the region. In conclusion, there is a proposed opera dramaturgy connected to both analyzed areas. The work also includes plenty of pictures.
